The IronStone motto is ‘strength comes from within’.
This is something Jody discovered at the tender age of ten when she needed to have major back surgery, resulting in a fusion of the lower spine at L4 and L5.
Jody was told she would walk with a limp & never play sport again. But she proved the doctors wrong.
When Jody realised the limp she carried for twenty years was gone, she felt empowered & able to pursue her health & fitness dreams. It was an easy decision to become a fitness professional, because it is Jody’s destiny to help people achieve the impossible. She knows first-hand the challenges & triumphs associated with overcoming major health obstacles.

From construction to fitness, Jody’s results-driven career pivoted just like Commando Steve – she originally planned on pursuing a career in Civil Engineering.
Jody’s life-long passion for health & fitness translated to the accumulation of a number of industry relevant qualifications.

What are your session times & locations?
We currently offer the following sessions from our grassroots garage fitness studio at 1/212 Princes Hwy, Lucknow, VIC 3875.
With private sessions by appointment only on Saturdays or Sundays.
Monday to Friday

Can I bring my children?
Of course you can! Jody understands how difficult it is to get an hour to yourself to devote to fitness training, so feel free to bring your children.
Children are encouraged to participate in our designated kids session held each Wednesday at 4:30 pm.
How much does it cost & do you offer discounts?
IronStone Fitness packages include:
- Weekly (as many sessions as you want) $40/week. Payment via EziDebit preferred.
- 10 session pass $150.00 (2 month expiration date)
- Kids $10.00 per session (discount for members or families)
We offer discounts to Emergency Services Personnel (Police, Fire & Ambulance), and ask to see some photo ID first.
What type of training does IronStone Fitness provide?
IronStone Fitness is a strength & conditioning program that builds strength & increases endurance while working on your weaknesses using functional movements combined with high intensity, varied workouts.
I've never lifted weights before, will I be safe?
IronStone Fitness uses Olympic weight lifting progressions, so you will be shown correct technique from the beginning & can build your practice from there.
Jody rigorously ensures that all members are taught the correct weight lifting technique from the beginning. You will build your lifting through consistency (attending regularly) & then intensity (speed in which the workouts are performed).
If you are training at a weight that Jody deems unsafe for your current ability, the weight will be reduced. Safe weightlifting practices are discussed in detail at your first session, along with your current fitness level & experience.
Will I get bored with the routines?
Our sessions eliminate routine & will challenge you past your edge – and we guarantee you will never look back.
IronStone Fitness is designed for universal scalability, making it perfect for anyone committed to his or her fitness regime regardless of experience or conditioning.
Do I get a full workout?
Absolutely! IronStone Fitness training methods are great for developing a broad base of fitness. So rather than working the muscles in isolation, the exercises involve the whole body. This ensures you get balanced results much quicker than traditional programs.
Do you offer cardio sessions too?
IronStone Fitness programs combine weight training, basic gymnastic skills & high intensity cardio with many other movements for a holistic training routine.
I live with a complex health condition, can I still workout?
Our classes can accommodate injury or medical conditions, & you go through a detailed intake process before you start a session.
If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you should consult your GP before joining us.
